Request for Proposal (RFP)

A compulsory pre-proposal RFP briefing will be conducted via Microsoft Teams, on 25 November 2021, at 11:00 am for a period of ± 2 hours. The briefing session will start punctually, and information will not be repeated for the benefit of Respondents arriving late.

Bidders are expected to fill in and sign the “Certificate Of Briefing Session Attendance” during the briefing session together with the signature of the AEMFC representative. The signed form shall form part of the tender submission.

Any organization wishing to bid must send at least one representative but not more than two representatives per bidder. A Consortium or Joint Venture must be represented by at least one of the Consortium or Joint Venture members.

Failure to submit the “Registration of Prospective Bidders Form” for the briefing session attendance by 23 November 2021 will lead to the bidder not being able to attend the RFP briefing.

African Exploration Mining and Finance Corporation (AEMFC) is a subsidiary of Central Energy Fund (CEF). Its core business is the mining of the strategic assets such as coal. Mining is done on behalf of government. AEMFC seeks to appoint a panel of maximum four suitably qualified service providers for repair and maintenance of mobile mining machinery on an as and when required basis for a period of 12 months.
