Request for Quote (RFQ)

The scope of work for Proposal for supply of 16 000L  diesel bowser on rental basis to Vlakfontein mine for a period of 5 months is as follows.

  • Supply 16 000L diesel bowser for purpose of equipment refuelling.
  • Diesel bowser must have less than 8 000hrs.
  • Diesel bowser will be operated by Mine operators.
  • Mine operates on a 24/7 calendar system.
  • Quotation will be on a dry rate.
  • Maintenance and repairs is the responsibility of the service provider.
  • Machine will be fitted with a Proximity devise system (PDS) by the mine.
  • Maintenance and service records to be readily available.
  • Machine to have all safety devices required by the mine fitted by the supplier (Strobe light, reflective tape, 2X 9kg fire extinguisher, isolation and lockout device, stop blocks)

NB:

  • Site inspection at an agreed date and venue will be conducted to winning bidder prior to delivery of machine.

The company requests for quotations for a qualified, experienced, and professional person to assist in with review, assessment and recalculation of fixed asset residual values and useful lives.

The service provider will:

  • Review that the company fixed asset residual values and useful lives to ensure that they are adequate, accurate and complete.
  • Review the accuracy and completeness of the company fixed asset residual values and useful lives to ensure that they are in line IFRS and other applicable accounting standards.

  • Meeting with the mine representatives
  • Acquisition and review of existing information
  • Site inspection of mining activities
  • Closure plan with engineering and technical input
  • Closure cost assessments of all the activities within the mine
  • All plans that are required, must be compiled by yourselves
  • Rehabilitation plan with engineering and technical concepts
  • Update the existing reports such as risk assessment, annual rehabilitation plan and closure plan
  • Workshop or feedback to mine management

Deliverables

  • Updated reports such as Risk management plan, annual rehabilitation plan and closure plan
  • Decommissioning, closure and rehabilitation plan
  • Draft final report and spreadsheet
  • Present the final draft to the mine management
  • The reports must be signed by the compiler
  • The reports must cover all the 3 pts of the mine

 

The proposals must be based on the following scope of work:

  • Data acquisition and review. A non-disclosure agreement will be signed
  • Conduct site visit at all the mine facilities.
  • Conduct the audit for the three pits, each has its own EMP and Environmental authorisations. Each EMP and environmental authorisation must have its own audit reports separately.
  • Audit reports must indicate the EMP/Environmental authorisation requirement, findings, photos, compliance status, percentages and comments and or recommended measures.
  • Develop maps and plans required for the interpretation of the report
  • Develop the audit report showing compliance and non-compliance. This must also be illustrated in scores or percentages
  • The draft report must be presented to the mine for commenting purposes.
  • Submit the final report to the public on or before the 15th of April 2022.
  • Display notices on public areas regarding the availability of the final report.
  • Submit the report to the authorities (e.g. DMRE)
