Scope of Work 

• The flood lights will be operated 7 days a week
• Maintenance and servicing of flood lights will be done by the service provider
•  Request for a quotation for supply and maintenance of 4 diesel operated floodlights to be used in an opencast mining area for a period of 3 months on a rental basis Should any of the lights be faulty, the bidder should be able to replace within 24 hours
• Each flood light to come with own fire extinguisher
• The flood lights to have brackets enclosing the batteries to prevent batteries from being stolen.

2. Complete run out the fire hose from its reel.
3. Check the fire hose and reel are in good condition.
4. Check that all the coupling and joint are watertight.
5. Check the spray nozzle can be opened and adjusted easily.
6. Roll fire hose back on its reel and record details on service label.
7. Test water flow rate, static pressure, and dynamic pressure.
