1. SCOPE OF WORK (SOW)

The service provider is required for the desilting of the Pollution Control Dam at the mine as outlined below.

Removal of silt using an auger dredger for one lined Pollution Control Dam

• The capacity of the dam is 6000m³
• Desilting must also include the cleaning of a silt trap
• The equipment to be used for desilting will be inspected to check if it is suitable for the task.
• The 90 KVA diesel generator is required for the desilting process.
• Damage to the HDPE liner must be avoided, if is to happen, the service provider will have to pay for the damage
• The service provider must be able to complete the task within 3 weeks
• The work must commence between 07h30 and 17h00 Monday to Friday
• The workforce must be medically fit and attend the mine’s induction at the service provider’s cost
• Safety file must be prepared and submitted to the min
• The service provider must provide PPE to its employees
• The service provider must also equip all personnel with covid-19
